Kirsten Kohlmeyer

Kirsten Kohlmeyer is the Assistive Technology Director at Redwood Literacy and Redwood Day School, which provide interventions for students with dyslexia in school, community-based, and virtual environments. In her role at Redwood, Kirsten leads instructors and administrators in learning about and implementing AT tools for Redwood students to more independently access, gain meaning from, and engage with grade-level curriculum. Kirsten holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and has presented at the local, state, and national levels. She has also published across multiple platforms, including blogs, podcasts, textbooks, and peer-reviewed journals. Kirsten has extensive professional experience in rehabilitation, assistive technology, and special education. She is passionate about empowering students and parents with the tools and advocacy skills they need to excel.
