Summary

Kim Dunbar is an experienced teacher who has taught in a variety of educational settings both in Australia and England. When her daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2016, Kim discovered a passion for helping students with learning difficulties.  She now specialises in providing intervention for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD.

Kim is committed to using evidence-based methods and specialises in Structured Literacy intervention. She has qualifications in Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) and the Hochman Method for writing.  Kim is an Associate Member of the Australian Dyslexia Association and a SPELD NSW Professional member.

Kim enjoys creating fun and engaging lessons, suited to either an online or face to face format.  She tailors her approach to suit the age and ability of each student and provides a positive environment where they can relax, learn and grow.
