Summary

Born in Gisborne, NZ.  Now living on a small citrus orchard with my husband and five boys.  My second son has dyslexia which was a motivating force to dig deeper to support his learning.  I am Primary trained and taught at Primary level before moving to Secondary.  Literacy focus throughout.  Post-grad Diploma in Literacy Education, IMSLE training, AMADA.  Literacy facilitation at both Secondary and Primary levels.  Growth coaching model is an integral part of my PLD model.  Currently facilitating a move to a Structured Literacy approach with Primary School teachers and facilitating growth of, support for, and awareness of dyslexia at Secondary level, in addition to cross-curricular literacy growth.  Working across the sector within the Kahui Ako.
