Summary

Casey Harrison is the founder of Wimberley Dyslexia & Learning Center and The Dyslexia Classroom. She provides dyslexia therapy and literacy services that link evidence-based best practices rooted in the science of reading to social-emotional learning to provide the best outcomes for dyslexic learners.

She is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (TX), Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist (IDA), and Certified Academic Language Therapist (ALTA) with over twenty-four years of experience. Through her educational journey as a classroom teacher, reading facilitator and interventionist, district literacy coach, and private dyslexia therapist, she has developed a strong voice for the impacts that appropriate literacy instruction can have on struggling students.

Casey is passionate about teaching students with dyslexia and believes in the power of spreading knowledge and awareness of dyslexia to help parents and educators deepen their understanding of dyslexia and reading instruction through resources, courses, workshops, and professional development.  Her mission is to empower others with the necessary knowledge to help all students find success.
