Summary

Anne Italiano is an educator who specialises in teaching children all about spelling.

She has been working in Victorian State schools for the past 18 years providing Specialist Literacy Support to students in need. She also runs workshops for Educational Support Staff in the State and Private sector. She is a registered AMADA with the Australian Dyslexic Association and has taken part in The Learning Initiative Melbourne SLAM Camp for students with Dyslexia for the past 4 years which has been extremely rewarding. Five years ago, after trying to find a resource that would help teachers learn about spelling and not being able to find anything, she decided to write her own, Spelling Step by Step. Since then, she has also produced a second resource, The Next Step, both being purchased by a growing number of schools, teachers, and parents, which she is excited about.

She love working with students, seeing their eyes light up and their confidence grow when they feel success.
