SPELD NZ provide nationwide diagnostic assessment, one-on-one tuition, training for educators and families (courses, webinars and workshops) and advice.

Another of SPELD NZ’s key roles is to advocate and lobby strongly on behalf of those with dyslexia/SLD. SPELD NZ are frequently called on for comment by media, and are also actively involved in lobbying both locally and nationally to ensure those with dyslexia and other SLD are given the best possible opportunities to succeed.
